A variety that will be ideal as a gift for friends and relations who are celebrating 50 years of matrimony. The rose has well shaped flowers of deep yellow colour. Healthy and easy to look after. ~ Bernard

Fyvie Castle.
With the morning dew
I love you

A Hybrid Tea rose of perfect form and subtle shades of light apricot, amber and pink. The blooms are large, double flowers which carry a light fragrance. The growth of the plant is short and compact making it suitable for mixed borders as well as lower level mass planting. Foliage is green, glossy and disease resistant.

Awards: Silver Plate Award in Baden-Baden for the best Hybrid Tea rose in the Rose Trials in 1984; Gold Star of the South Pacific, Palmerston North New Zealand 1985.

Loop the Loop

Loop the loop Iris
To shock your senses
I wrap my self
In brilliant garments

Loop de Loop has perky white petals edged in bright purple. Very striking!

Bearded Irises are the single most popular class of Iris grown in gardens today. 'Bearded' refers to the fuzzy strip on each of the drooping falls. The true petals are called standards and are upright and its leaves are quite stiff and grow in fan shaped clumps. Few flowering plants provide so much beauty with so little effort as the Bearded Iris. Although they're not fussy about soil - they do require a sunny spot with good drainage. Not only will you have an excellent supply of cut flowers but they will also multiply annually for continued enjoyment. ~ Bernard

Tall Bearded Iris

Tall Bearded Iris
Coyly demure
I invite you
To come closer

Tall Bearded irises have stems with a height of 71 cm's or higher (27.5 in) and above, with branching and many buds. Each stem, in itself, makes a stately arrangement in the garden or in a vase. In addition to a wide variety of colours and patterns, the TB's display other qualities (such as ruffling and lacing) more frequently than do the other classes. Some bearded irises are "rebloomers", blooming again in the summer, autumn or winter. Additional water and fertilizer applied during the summer months encourages them to bloom again. ~ Bernard
